Wild Wing Plantation's Avocet 18 has always been the best of the original four courses at this facility, with consistently some of the best greens in town. It features multiple elevated tees, wide landing areas, contoured-double fairways, grass bunkers, and strategically placed water and sand traps.

In December 2005, Wild Wing Plantation was sold to a group of local businessmen who pledged to maintain the quality golf and commitment to service, while creating a first class residential neighborhood, with fantastic golf and social amenities.

The Avocet, a signature course designed by the team of Jeff Brauer and Larry Nelson, has remained the focal point for golf. At Wild Wing, each hole is memorable for its enjoyment and playability with golfers coming back to this favorite year after year.
